Setup Your API Key

To use Wafer with Orq.ai, follow these steps:
  1. Navigate to BYOK in the AI Gateway sidebar
  2. Find Wafer in the list
  3. Click the Configure button next to Wafer
  4. In the modal that opens, select Setup your own API Key
  5. Enter a name for this configuration (e.g., “Wafer Production”)
  6. Paste your Wafer API Key into the provided field
  7. Click Save to complete the setup
Your Wafer API key is now configured and ready to use through the AI Gateway.
Get the API key from the Wafer dashboard after creating an account at wafer.ai.

Available Models

The AI Gateway supports Wafer chat models including GLM-5.1, Kimi-K2.6, Qwen3.5-397B-A17B, and Qwen3.6-35B-A3B. All models use the wafer/ prefix.
