Setup Your API Key

To use X.AI with orq.ai, follow these steps:
  1. Navigate to Providers (in AI Studio: Model Garden > Providers, in AI Router: Providers)
  2. Find X.AI in the list
  3. Click the Configure button next to X.AI
  4. In the modal that opens, select Setup your own API Key
  5. Enter a name for this configuration (e.g., “X.AI Production”)
  6. Paste your X.AI API Key into the provided field
  7. Click Save to complete the setup
Your X.AI API key is now configured and ready to use with orq.ai in AI Studio or through the AI Router.

Available Models

The AI Router supports 24 Grok models with vision capabilities and reasoning modes.
  • Grok 2: Grok 2, Grok 2 Mini with vision support
  • Grok 3 Preview: with vision support
  • Reasoning and creative modes with function calling and streaming
All models are available through the AI Router with the xai/ prefix. For the full model list, see the Model Garden.
